Western Australia is known for their mineral resources. A large portion of their income comes from mining. Iron Ore is found in the Pilbara in the “Banded Iron Formation”. These deposits were formed when oxygen levels in the atmosphere were very low (less than 2%).

  2. Is iron ore a renewable resource? Explain your answer.
